The curriculum standards in RIMS are based on the curriculum framework of Ministry of Education of Latvia.

In RIMS, a class teacher is responsible for all academic and non-academic issues concerning the students in his/her class. He or she is the first contact person for consultations regarding a student.

Discipline is one of the primary concerns in RIMS. Academic life at RIMS is based on rules and regulations that are clearly defined in the school’s Ground Rules. Ground Rules help us create a healthy atmosphere for better education.

We believe that a significant step towards helping students achieve their maximum potential involves having an integrated curriculum with a cross-disciplinary approach to education. Therefore, the curriculum at the school pulls different disciplines together at every opportunity. The curriculum features a modern approach to science classes while providing a solid education in humanities and social sciences.

Club activities are strongly encouraged in RIMS. Students can improve their skills by taking part in club activities such as Arts, Music, Mathematics, Sports, Cooking.
